The Government has recently published what it calls an ‘evidence-based’ toolkit, providing an extensive guide to oral hygiene; covering the fundamentals of brushing through to advice on sugar-free medicines with hopes to ‘allow all patients to benefit from modern preventive treatments and improved methods of self-care’ (Prof. Kevin Fenton, director of Health and Wellbeing).
The publication is a collaborative project from the Department of Health, the NHS and The British Association for the Study of Community Dentistry allowing a great depth of information, executed in a transparent and frank manner. Click here to view the document.
