The dynamic and delightful Dentistry Show is back once again. The much anticipated event opens its doors on Friday 1st March and Saturday 2nd March at the NEC, in Birmingham. It is a fun-filled, action packed, two day event where over 5000 dental professionals are expected to attend. There will be over 350 UK and foreign suppliers who will be presenting their latest dental related products. This show consists of the largest exhibition the annual event has seen so far. It is a great opportunity to get to grips and learn about the latest services and technology in the dentistry industry. It is also a great way to network and get advice about your own endeavours in the dentistry world. 

The excitement doesn’t stop here. There will also be a variety of different, exhilarating and informative lectures, speeches and seminars taking place over the two days. They will be led by reputable and inspirational figures in the industry. They will be directed at aesthetic dentistry, MI dentistry, nurses, hygienists, therapists, practice managers; all kinds of dental professionals looking for guidance and inspiration! Some of the lectures will take place in the new, awaited Dentistry Today theatre.

Many of the speeches taking place are aimed at Dental Nurses. Laura Horton (Conference Chair and Owner of Horton Consulting) will kick off the weekend with a Welcome and an Introduction. There will then be speeches from: Caroline Maries (Medical Emergency Instructor), Mhari Coxon (Senior Professional Relations Manager and Consultant at mhaircoxon.com and Dental Hygienist), Emma John (Training Consultant and dental business manager: Absolute Dental), Fiona Elwood (Director of Education at Dental Business Academy), Donna Hickey (Head of Compliance), Nicki Rowland (Mouth Cancer Screening Expert), Rhiannon Pounds (Treatment Co-ordinator, The Smile Works), Janine Greyling (Co-founder of the Dental Recruit Network), Sylvie Sturrock (Dental Business Consultant/Practice Manager), Rachel Hughes (Training Manager and Clinical Treatment Co-ordinator) and Veronique Sauret-Jackson (Cavendish Imaging Expert). DNN is also very excited to announce that one of speeches will be made by DNN’s very own director Marama Millar, on the Saturday at 1pm. Marama or Mars as she is known, will be sharing her story of how she evolved from a dental nurse to business owner, overnight. She will be talking about career development, career goals and how to achieve them.

Technician programmes will be showcased over the two days. This will appeal to many laboratory owners and technicians. As well as this, The Association of Dental Implantology (ADI) will be launching their leading Implant Theatre once again. The British Society of Periodontology (BSP) will also be introducing a mixture of clinically supported presentations in the recently developed PerioLounge.

And it doesn’t stop there. There is also 65 hours of CPD on offer and what’s more: they are free for registered dental professional! Professionals can take advantage of CPDs worth hundreds of pounds. There will be workshops taking place and CPD content running classes within eight different theatres and not to be missed is the UK’s first live demonstration area which will be commencing in the Live Theatre.

There will be over 6000 dental representatives and delegates attending. There is an extraordinary amount of opportunities for all kinds of dental professionals. It is a rewarding and valuable event where connections can be made, inspiration can be found and it is also a chance to mingle with friends and have some fun!
