This fully accredited course offers combined Level 2 and Level 3 IPC lead training at a discounted rate*. Developed for those responsible for infection prevention and control (IPC) in dental practices, this programme provides the essential knowledge and skills to become a competent and confident IPC lead and ensure compliance with standards.

The CQC State: “There should be an IPC lead with overall responsibility for infection prevention and control and the authority to lead and implement change where needed.”

You will learn best practices in infection prevention and control, IPC folder development, compliance, waste management, leadership, and management in dentistry. The course also covers CQC inspection roles, reflective learning, team training skills, setting up a compliant Central Sterilisation Unit (CSU), conducting audits, and understanding RIDDOR and COSHH requirements.
